A new blog entry. Hmm.

Today was pretty fine EXCEPT for physics test.

PE carried logs -.- Do dont know what exercise.

recess played soccer. yep. injured knee. dots.=/

anyways, physics test is die liao. sian. so many calculations wrong. haaais.

LALA~ ystd was my 16th year old bday. TODAY's my 2nd day as 16. HAHA:D

Ystd was fun! :D Met up with DD at JP @11.00am. I was late -.- HAHA. She said she'll give me punishment for being late but I dont think she served them out anyway. ;xx whoops.

We took train from Boon Lay (duhh-.-) to City Hall and then we headed off to Marina Sq. Went to GV and bought tix for Cloverfield first. I was suggesting whether we should watch 'The Mist' or not.. it's Nc16! :D haha but nevermind about that. Amazingly, a week ago I checked the cinema bookings. The 2 back rows (couple seats) were all FULLY booked. However, i was pretty shocked that there are still seats left. o.o' To my surprise, the whole cinema had only like 10+ people watching the show only -.- and only some of the couple seats were taken up. Haha. That means we haaaad pleeeentttyyy of space. ((: After buying tickets, we walked around Marina Sq for 20 minutes plus. Haha. We entered the cinema @ 12.50pm.

Overall, I would rate Cloverfield: 3.5/5.

Firstly, it's very unique and special. It's not like your usual 'Godzilla' or 'King Kong' movies whereby the monster was shown and filmed very clearly at the start.

It was filmed from first person view. From this video recording camera. Rob (the main protagonist)'s friend.. Hart was filming the whole incident all the time. Until the time where he died, Rob's girlfriend (i forgot her name.. was it Beth? o.o') took over.. Well that was very late into the movie already. The whole movie is very interesting as it is very realistic. It basically depicts how chaotic a city would be should an alien attack really strike Earth. People running around, spouting vulgarities (they censored it, thus the PG), people showing their fears etc. The Statue of Liberty had it's head removed by the monster in the movie. o.o' Well, the most gruesome part about the movie (which sadly shocked dd a lil ): sighs.) was the part whereby Melena (Hart's infatuation/loveo.O) was infested by the offsprings or parasites of the main alien (the big guy, his about hmm.. 30~40 stories tall and... has a surface area of.. 5~6 soccer fields bah, sorry I am not too sure either.). The following part may seem scary, her eyes start gushing out blood and her eyeballs eventually 'shot' out of her sockets. 'Eww' should be a normal humane reaction anyway. The infestion finally completed when new parasites 'exploded' out of her body and bit some soldiers around her. (their going to suffer the same thing anyway :/). The ending was abrupt. It showed Rob and Beth (the only ones surviving) getting blown up by the bomb which destroyed Manhattan, New York. The camera was still running (it was concealed by bricks, I had no idea why it wasnt destroyed o.O) and Rob was still shouting: 'BETH! Are you alive? BETH?' so Rob probably survived. And the camera rewinded back to the last part of the film inside the video recording camera: a previously recorded flim by Rob and Beth at Italy I think.. and the show ended.

I received info that the ending of the show should have another small clip showing Rob alive and saying: 'It's alive.' Well~ That was a sound.. But I couldnt hear it properly.. So people who's going to watch this show and want to wait for the ending part (after the credits etc), I would advise you to do that and not waste your time ONLY if your hearing is excellent. Okays~ That's all for the movie. :D

After the movie it was around 2.30pm. We went to bowl at Superbowl. The lanes had so many problems la! Oh well... Wasnt too bad either. Me and DD got a few free throws. HA! I got strike at my first frame:DD oh well.. It was lucky.. ;P

We left the small bowling alley at around 3.30pm plus and we went to Suntec to look for my schoolbag. Apparently, Wallet shop didnt have alot of bags for sale.. and those for sale wasnt appealing to me :/ We went into this small shop selling sling-bags but it was all branded brands like Nike and Adidas. I wanted to get Zinc bags, but there wasnt Zinc shops so it was pretty disappointing. But w/e. DD cheered me up and made the whole day fun and exciting! That's the main point. HAHA:D

Eventually we returned back to Marina Sq for our dinner at YukiNYaki (pictures at my friendster profile!). It is a japanese buffet restaurant. I would recommend all of you to try the food there. It's nice la, and the cost is reasonable as well. xD (*dont try the beef tho.. as commented by DD.. it's.. inedible=XX)

Haha. We sat at the table and took some pictures. We couldnt finish some of our food T_T so I think we were charged $5. Haha nvm about that. At 7pm we were requested to change tables for our ice cream time! :D haha. The thingy very interesting la. Firstly, they switched on the.. hmm.. Im not sure what you call that but it is something like a freezer whereby it freezes creams to make them into Ice-Cream:D haha!

We tried, Strawberry, Orange Sherbet, Chocolate and Durian icecreams in order.

Our preferences are:
1/2) Strawberry and Chocolate!
3) Durian
4) Orange Sherbet.

Sorry, orange was too creamy and.. diluted. =xx

Both of us left the restaurant at 7.30pm plus. Haha. After that, we went to sit around at the bridge near Esplanade. Crapped alot there and took some photos xD it's all with dd. The ambience is pretty romantic and the place is pretty cooling as well. :D

We left esplanade and walked all the way to Raffles MRT Stn.. On our way there.. DD commented that the sky was beautiful.. it really is. xD and she tried taking pictures of myself standing 'beside' the MayBank building. Haha! She took already and let me see.. But i couldnt see myself. I was like 'HUH??' then thanks to her I finally saw where am I in the picture. HAHA. My clothes totally blended into the landscape. xD

We sat outside of Raffles MRT Stn for awhile and chatted.. Haha.. :PP it is a very memorable day.. XDDD huhhuhuh? o.o'

Too bad, all good things have to come to an end ): and we took the train back home at 9pm.
Reached Boon Lay at 9.30pm and I sent her home. Thanks DD for your time.. I am truly happy and touched. Thanks for all your time, and I really appreciates your effort to make my bday a memorable one.. It's one of those days that will be forever etched into my memories and it'll never be taken away. LOVE your presents as well:D ^^ now i can destress already. hahaxD

Ah, so many things to blog about!

Let me start with Thursday (17/o1)

Thursday (17/o1)

Left school at 8.30am then head off to NP. Wow the school so good leh, book for us 2 buses for like.. 8 people, including Mdm Yeo it'll be 9 bahs. We reached NP at around 8.50am for 'Build the strongest bridge' competition. Haha, both teams from our school didnt make it :/ sad. I realised that my bro-in-law's school took part too, somemore win top 3 places. *claps* Anyways, toured around NP since it is the open house. Took home alot of broshures for courses information.. SoB always require so high de aggregate one ): 10 points I might as well go JC, haha. Not very sure about my path yet~ Since I dont think I will have enough stamina to pia another 2 years at JC. So i suppose the best path to take now is to take 1 step by 1 step bah. (:

We left NP at 11.40am and head back to school for lessons. -.-' Mr.Lee briefed us on SPA and for double Amaths lesson we did Trigo revision. After school was over, it was another time to use and kill lots of brain cells - Maths tuition T_T. Haha, met up with DD and we left school tgt for our tuitions together.

Sorry for ps-ing yc without reason, haha. I see that you go find other people liao so I just went home without you. Ps=X

Tuition teacher was ok la, we did indices and surds. The homework is hella lots! Gosh~ Ok, I think that's all for Thursday. Friday is next!

Friday (18/o1)

Lessons on friday was ok~ lol. Just maths science etcetc, ya you got my point. -.-

After school the innovators had to distribute flyers together, and dd went np with her friends for open house. OMG np gave out Donuts Factory (is it? o.o) donuts for free sia~ and even gave nice drinks.. T_T too bad I didnt go-.-

Me and rq handled blocks 405 and 406 tgt. Haha~ We finished both in less than half an hour thanks to our juniors who got the blocks wrong=xx

Everything ended at around 3.30pm plus and just when me, ty and zh thought we can go home alr. We were... wrong-.-

Ms Toh wanted to meet all of us and discussed about things.. Well~ The discussion was pretty smooth and we're having our meeting later at 8pm (today is Sunday, or rather, the date of entry for this post).

Finally I met dd at jp at around 4.30plus. Sorry for letting you wait so long! ): We went to jp and walked around.. before finally deciding to have our dinner at kopitiam. Haha. Both of us ate Small Bowl noodles (direct translation from xiao wan mian). It was.. mediocre. Haha, im choosy when it comes to my food. :/ whatever~

We went to JP lib to study for SPA together until 7plus.. Blah.. Didnt help alot tho. (refering to how badly I did for spa:/) Oh well, here comes the sad day of my week, Saturday.

Saturday (19/o1)

RAWR! SPA today. :/

Mind you, it's the official SPA, and not practice. That means 1 experiment is 6.6666666666667% of my O levels. And i flunked that 6.6666666666667% of my physics O levels. How great? :D

Reached school at around 8am for Physics SPA (the dreadful one). How badly I did for it is simply undescribable in words. I really went emo after the experiment. I forgot that your supposed to place the lens holder at a designed place (YES YOU DO NOT MOVE IT AROUND!), and then move your screen for the desired image. I only realised that with 10 minutes left to go, Ha Ha. I did just the opposite and my points formed a curve! (: My focal length is 53.3, yes go ahead and laugh. I personally find it embarassingly humourous. Rofl~

After the 'great' experiment, I went for chem spa. It somehow cheered me up. o.o' Ok, this may sound ridiculous but during the experiment we used the phenolphathalein (dont know how you spell it) indicator and it is supposed to turn our solution PINK with ONE drip of solution from the burette. That one drip, 'Pew~' which landed into the solution, turned the solution pink and it cheered me up. Haha~ I AM WIERD-.-

After everything ended it was 11.20am bahs (rather, it was the time i left school).

I met up with bryan , rq , yb and zj to go and eat together. I ate banmian dry. Haha.

Went home with bryan on bus 185 and i realised i havent do alot of hw yet. -.- yawns.

PLUS the addition of my current tuition hw! OMG~~ -.-

Sunday (20/o1) today!

Woke up at 7am plus le leh. But I continued to laze on the bed until 10am plus. Haha! Achievement~ jk.

Did not really alot of things today bah.. Only installed the new anti virus prog. BIT Defender.. Haha. Did hw as well lo. Finished some of my tui hw. Yawns~ Still alot to do-.- zzz.

Schooldays are pretty more or less the same.. Study, study and study. Paying attention in class is my priority now.. So if you find my behaviour changed.. Please do not mind the change.. Im just trying to become a better person (:

I found out that having a hiatus from gaming, totally calms and prepares your mind for studying. My brain seem to be able to connect ideas much better now without the influence of games. xD

Anyway, our class along with 4e1 had a DNA workshop today. Haha, the instructor was pretty good with his presentation, and Genetic councellor seems like an interesting job. Pretty cruel when you tell people that they couldn't have kids tho=/

The DNA workshop started at around 2pm and it ended at 4.20pm plus. Waited for DD at Macs with CM and Guan You. Haha, they decided to eat there in the end. CM couldnt tolerate the hunger anymore.

DD arrived at around 10minutes later and we went to JE. Wanted to dine at Pizza Hut but it was too ex=/ There was no student's offer. -.- yawns.

So in the end, we met up with Harry and went to his house as I needed a rough idea as of what to expect from tomorrow's 'Build the strongest bridge' competition. We left his house at around 5.40pm bahs.

DD and I went to JP to have our dinner, as promised! (: Love your presence so much, haha. We went to Mos and ate allll the way till 6.30pm plus. Haha xD Chatted alot.. =P

I guess that's all for today. Sorry for unable to update for such a long time. I'm really busy with Inno stuffs etc. =.='

Wahaha. Long time never update le woh~

Today we had lessons from 8~9.30am and then everyone assembled at foyer to go to SP. The bus is.. -.- no comments. Reached SP at around 10plus bahs, and everyone started distributing and walking their own ways. Eventually we went to school of business and toured around it. The student that explained the most about a course has to be the one from Business Administration, she was the only one who gave me a clear thought about what to expect in SoB. -.- The rest were like.. 'Hey.. welcome..' kind of introduction instead of making it interesting and intriguing. How disappointing.

Nonetheless, at least they showed an effort to really introduce the courses, so credit still goes to the students. (: Finally had a brief understanding of SoB, think I will attend the Open House next year, seriously tour and ask questions about SoB. Im still pretty unclear about DHMRP and DBF o.o' Haha. Most probably going into Business and Financial Services bahs. (:

Left SP at around 12plus.. The guys went to JE to eat. I went home alone though, my left harm is in severe pain. The triceps area bahs. Not sure of what its called too.. ZZZ~ Didnt attend Inno meeting nor the Principal's talk. My sincere apologies. :/

DD came to my house after her LS meeting; she was worried. Sorry for making you worry o~ ): Im fine now.. Just that I cannot use force from either of my hand.. Essential basic human movements like waving, eating.. etc I still can perform. Just afraid of tearing the muscles if I go to school today, since tomorrow is Saturday and I will have ample time to rest before next week starts. It is time to clear my 'debts' bah.. And start a new week fresh. :D Ganbatte John!

Yesterday some of the Sec 4 classes had Social Etiquette and Dining workshop with trainers Ms Elaine and Mr. Chua. They were good with their presentation especially Mr.Chua with his humourous jokes. Learnt alot of new things in the workshop, such as how to place your cutlery in the 10:20 manner after you have completed your meals, always start using your cutlery from the outside to the inside, etc.

After the workshop, we took the bus transport provided back to school and the Innovators committee members had a meeting. The meeting ended at around 3plus. Thanks dd for waiting! (: We went to JP to buy her school shoes, unfortunately, there wasn't any suitable. So we took bus 243G and went to Gek Poh. She got her school shoes and it suits her well. :D After that I accompanied her home before going back home. Overall, it is a pretty tiring day but I still slept at 11pm+ ;O

Today, woke up at 10amplus. Ate breakfast, did some homework and I had to get changed to attend my Biao Ge's baby celebration. Jeannie is 1 year old (: Congratulations! Left his house at around 4pm plus bahs. Reached Suntec City at 5.05pm. Had to go home alone via Cityhall MRT as my sister, bro-in-law and sis-in-law went shopping at Suntec. I had to rush home to complete Powerpoint presentation for training. -.-' yawns. Half-way completed already, just need something from Tee Yang when he comes back home tomorrow.

Oh well, im bloggin at home now, it is currently 7:12pm. Time to go get dinner and start rushing homework!
